The SHEEP THIEF was Asif Kapadia’s graduation film at the Royal College of Art and was shot in Rajasthan, India. It won numerous awards including the Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival in 1999. Kapadia’s debut feature, the critically acclaimed THE WARRIOR, saw his return to the epic landscapes and themes of this earlier film.
